For our final project we combined the tensile, compression, and branching systems from our previous projects to create an inhabitable space of suspended, layered platforms. In order to construct our multi-layer space, we developed a modular structural system that consists of two unit typologies - a cube and a supporting “branch”. These pieces are then stacked onto hollow tubes that are inserted into the board.
