To start, we developed a joinery system for the beams which involved breaking down a beam into four lengthwise pieces and staggering the in- dividual components. We then wrapped the four components to develop one beam that is able to create a continuous series of beams when slotted with another beam. In each beam we created a notch to attach a crossbeam in order to complete the frame system.
