The triangle, a prior model's shape choice, is explored further in this combinatorial model. Here, the objective was to build a grid that could support the main structure and transfer the forces. The eight triangular components that make up the structure's vertical support parts function primarily under compression forces. The trusses structure, which is supported by the columns, in turn supports the lower-level horizontal platforms that are joined to the beams by triangular turnbuckles.
