When initiating this project, our team aimed to build upon the successes and effective elements of our previous model, while also addressing and improving upon the less successful aspects. We opted to reuse several materials from our Reciprocal Model, notably acrylic and wood. These materials were a foundational starting point, as we intended for the building's programming to accentuate the characteristics of acrylic. This led us to conceptualize the building as a museum. The design incorporates four functional floors, including a gallery space, offices/studio areas, and a basement dedicated to archival purposes.
