EQUILIBRIUM MODEL / EXPERIMENT THREE
This exploration model undergoes controlled fragmentation of a series of aggregated units. It aims to explore the resultant effect of gravitational weight acting upon each other at different positions, and whether achieving equilibrium with only one source of linear tension under these different conditions is possible. Aggregation of units here is several blocks pressing upon one another through the single connection point. After positioning the bottom block at an angle pointing upwards, s fishing wire attached to the top block and from the ground exerts a pulling force at the block while also providing a friction force for each block through touching their side. Later, via adjusting angles of the bottom blocks or tightening/ loosening the lines, the experiment attempts with how to balance varying aggregated of blocks at varying angles.
