Our models explore a reactionary strategy that is composed of shell forms. These forms were created by draping a square piece of fabric from its four corners and applying catenary chains. In our variations, we started by exploring more regular forms and then transitioned to looking at more irregular, organic ones. From here we were interested in understanding potential private and public spaces, how the catenary arch condition creates spatial divisions, and how this denotes circulation within the form.
