RECIPROCAL MODEL / EXPERIMENT TWO
As an extended study of our equilibrium project, where we had experimented very fundamentally with the idea of a cantilevered mass, we continued to use the three-component system of wood planks (which are thinner and longer than the blocks we used previously), balls, and string.
This time, however, we began to establish an increasing number of centralities of compression in order to examine the adaptations between reciprocal forces when each new element was introduced. At the same time, we also began to introduce non-perpendicular arrangements and as an additional layer of investigation of the subsequent shifts in reciprocal forces.
