RECIPROCAL MODEL / EXPERIMENT THREE

In this assignment, we created forms that no longer connected at one fixed point as the previous structure was. This allowed us to create multiple spaces 3 Dimensional spaces and patterns from inside the structure. We also took note of materiality and how that would influence the form. Then tension forces are the result of the string and the compression element is made out of soft pipe, wire and saran wrap and wire.

The soft wire enclosed inside the pipes provide the form with a bit of stability while the tension force from the string holds everything together. The resulting variations are a set of 2,3,4 and 6 tube structures each with a unique exoskeletal version.
