To create the reciprocal models, we wanted to explore the possibilities of the triangular pieces we used for the equilibrium model. We proportionally duplicated the original pieces and assigned them spatial qualities: vertical support elements such as walls or pillars with different angles of inclination, as well as horizontal elements such as platforms. To make balance possible, the pieces depend on each other. We interlock them together through slots at specific locations on the pieces (see detail), as well as tensioning threads 0.5 in. from each corner of the pieces, attached to the base.
