Our goal for this final model was to develop a more sophisticated method of producing a kit of repeatable parts with systematic interlocking joinery. Establishing a basic form, we prioritized trusses as our structural and visual focal point. We decided to reuse the interlocking teeth joints of previous models by adding indentations only when necessary, locking two elements together. This would further prescribe our model to a basic configuration consisting of four truss walls with unique bracing to counteract the resulting applied forces.
