Our initial single system consisting of a repeatable horizontal plane in compression with an angled post creating tension was further envisioned to be a truss system. Like a truss, our plane and post system is modular. By capitalizing on the angle formed with the post intersected with the plane, we looked at how a truss system can continue to be modulated through using it structurally and as a facade treatment. By scaling the truss to be larger, the system we created allows for users to inhabit and pass through these truss systems.
