Our previous project explored the concept of equilibrium through a parametric tower design. This tower utilized the 360-degree rotation of two distinct polygons around the XY axis, serving as tension elements. Among the parametric variations analyzed during the project, the final iteration that informed our new design featured the rotation of hexagons along the XY axis. Further inspiration for this approach was drawn from the vertical steel lattice columns employed by Toyo Ito & Associates in the Sendai Mediatheque project. We subsequently studied this structural lattice system and its variations to investigate its adaptability for an individual structure.
