For our project we produced 6 models using the same set of three plywood triangles derived from a 3 by 4 grid. For each model, one of the three triangles is orthogonally attached to the base, an 8” by 8” base made out of plaster, and the additional two triangles are then attached to the first triangle. To create a structurally sound model, we used friction forces between the wooden triangles as well as tensile forces with fishing wire to connect the triangles. This connection happens in pre-fabricated holes lining the edges of each triangle.
