The model explores the transition between geometric typologies. It does this by using a single sheet of paper which creates the geometry. The different variations are achieved by changing the angle of the folded sides, creating different supports for the geometry’s sides. After working on 4 different geometries, testing their strengths and weaknesses, we chose 2 out of these to improve them. This resulted in 2 final geometries with improved supports, which helped us better understand forces’ flow and logic.
