Inspired by Heinz Isler’s work, our experimental model explores the potential form of a shell structure using a single continuous ribbon of lightweight fabric. As the fabric hangs, gravity pulls it down, and the inherent tension creates opposing forces shaping it into varying arches. The frame’s organization follows six horizontal rods from one side of the base to another that allow the piece of fabric to wrap around.
