These models continue the exploration of the notched square planar elements and a set of cores. In the Equilibrium iteration, the planar system had more sculptural qualities and the system took on shapes that did not necessarily enclose space.
With the addition of the notches on the inside of the larger square, the introduction of additional cores, and the increased importance of strings in tension, the spaces created are able to be more enclosed as the cores start to act as walls.
