Our membrane model explores modulation as a repeatable system where force distribution shapes spatial condition through iteration. Two rotated hexagonal shapes generate a bounding box. The clamp system evolves from corner-only to continuous edge support. Fabric operates proportionally within this system.
The model also reimagines fabric as an occupiable floor, supporting play or ecological functions like planting and drainage. Pinch points connect surfaces as circulation paths or water channels. Overall, tension produces efficient parabolic curves that demonstrate material use and force equilibrium.
