This project translates the topography of the previous hanging model into a grid of poles with varying elevations. These poles act as nodes over which a membrane is stretched, generating an entirely new landscape. Across the six iterations, additional poles are activated to increase density, gradually transforming the membrane from a loose plane into a wave-like form. Framing the membrane as a wave also prompted exploration of waveform properties. The iterations investigate how the membrane can span larger versus smaller distances, varying the amplitude and wavelength in order to produce various spatial conditions within the model.
