Our reciprocal model consists of three components: triangular frames, I-beams, and tracing paper. The frames and beams are adapted from our equilibrium model and serve as the structural components for our shading structure, while the tracing paper provides the shading with its flexibility letting it stretch in tension between points.

Across our 6 models, we experimented with the sliding property of the beams from our first project. The frames move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally along the beams, and two iterations are made for each model to show how the movement either increases or decreases the tension in the shading paper.
