Our model is a temporary structure that is designated as an observatory, although its compressibility and deploy ability allows it to serve a variety of functions. We decided to enclose the model with a membrane as a place of shelter and to explore a different method of compressibility and tensegrity. We sharpened wooden stick that would poke into the fabric and stretch it out.
